The strange thing is I can't understand why findChessboardCorners would be copying the image at all! Here is the source code for the method where the error occurs. If I comment out the call to findChessboardCorners then the code executes without any errors, but obviously doesn't find the calibration target.
Does anyone have any ideas why this function could be throwing this error? I can't seem to find anything about this online at the moment.

python alternative to K and R (camera parameters used in C++) while warping?
I was working on opencv stitching_detailed.cpp file where I came across cameraParams ( which basically stores different camera parameters). In the script, once these parameters are estimated, they are used to warp the input images for which the function call looks like this:
warper->warp(img, K, cameras[img_idx].R, INTER_LINEAR, BORDER_REFLECT, img_warped);
where img: input image
K : intrinsic parameters
R : Rotation matrix
Now I store these parameters (K,R) in a file and later want to use them to make some calls in python. Python opencv provides function called `cv2.warpPerspective` which takes a transformation matrix , `M` as input.
From my understanding of the code, M is basically same as K mentioned above but there is no input for R in python. So my question how do I perform warp as done in stitching c++ code in python if I know the parameters involved?

**Can this text recognition be done in OpenCV?** I see on the web that v3 has some new OCR capabilities, but on Ubuntu we're still on v2.4.9 of OpenCV.

Im am using the prebuilt "vc14" folder with mingw32 and netbeans. I added the headers, lib and bin directories to the project, but the only .lib files to to link to were opencv_world320.lib or opencv_world320d.lib. There are Cmake files in the folder, but no other .lib files for the modules.
How am I supposed to get the modules?

Hi,
I have done several implementations of face recognition and currently working with LBP training models.
I can create LBP face training models and call the FaceRecognizer update() to append new faces traning.
Now, considering that I have 2 raspberry boards running the face recognizer service, I would need to replicate the XML training file into both boards evertyime I add a new face.
Let's say I have a server that holds the faces (10 to 20 images per person) and the training XML itself.
Now, I see 3 ways to let both raspberry boards updated:
1. The server service runs the update() to add up new faces to the existing XML training and then the file is downloaded to both boards.
a) PROS: Only 1 file as training model all the time.
b) CONS: File gets bigger and bigger all the time
c) CONS: Raspberry will download bigger files (take time..)
2. The server service runs a NEW training on new faces and create a NEW XML file. Then the boards keep track of new XML files and APPEND it to its actual file.
a) PROS: Server will keep lots of versioned .xml files
b) PROS: Raspberry will download only the last training (small file)
**c) CONS: HOW to merge/append this new XML file to existing one as I cannot use update()?**
3. Boards download the new available server's faces set and each board update() its own XML LBP training.
a) PROS: Board will download only a few images < 1MB.
b) PROS: Boards just need to run update() to update the training file
Does any of you have implemented some kind work like this?

I am rendering two views per frame on an HMD and it's kind of complicated right now because I use OpenCV to load images and process intermediary results and the rest is OpenGL, but I still want it to work. I am using OpenCV 3.1 and any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you have just some advice.

Per view (left and right eye) I take four images as cv::Mat and copy them into four cv::ogl::Texture2D objects. Then I bind these textures to active OpenGL textures to configure my shader and draw to a framebuffer. I read the pixels of the frame buffer again (glReadPixels()) as a cv::Mat and do some postprocessing. This cv::Mat ("synthView") is getting copied to another cv::ogl::Texture2D which is rendered on a 2D screenspace quad for the view.
Here's some console output I logged for each call to the **cv::ogl::Texture2D objects**. No actual code!

The code was working when I catched the exceptions and used the Oculus DK2 instead of the CV1. As you can see, I can run through one rendered view, but trying to render the second view will throw an exception in the copyFrom method at gl::Buffer::unbind(ogl::Buffer::PIXEL_UNPACK_BUFFER).
**The exception occurs after all ogl::Texture2D objects have been used once and the first one gets "reused", which means that it will not call ogl::Texture2D::create(...) in the copyFrom() function!**
